We gathered with friends at Whitaker Ponds on Saturday to process acorns, crushing, grinding, winnowing, and leeching. Sarah brought some baked acorn treats that proved to be quite tasty. There were some walnut trees nearby, so we also harvested a basketful for future dye projects.
