In this video, our curriculum developer Willem Larsen leads instructor Peter Bauer (aka Urban Scout) through a debrief of how he used our unique educational system called the Fluency Hunting Game, to teach English Ivy basketry to the Portland Waldorf High School freshmen. Willem begins by discussing with Peter which of the game’s techniques he used: “Setup” “Limit” “Goal Conversation”, and how he used them in the class. They go on to discuss other fluency hunting techniques that Peter plans to implement in future classes, including changing the way he pulls and processes ivy to make the “Setup” for weaving more fluid and technique “Obvious”.
