Cancellation and Refund Policy
As a nonprofit, our ability to sustain ourselves requires extra attention to our programs’ financial needs. As such, we have strict cancellation and refund policies in place to maintain our fiscal responsibilities to both our staff and our constituents who rely on our programs. Most of our expenses are incurred in the planning and preparation of our programs. Our cancellation and refund policies are based on the need to maintain the financial integrity of the organization to cover the costs for late cancellations, no-shows, or withdrawals from ongoing programs. Our budgets are based on the full tuition provided by students prior to the start of a program. To maintain our financial goals, we cannot forfeit money that we planned on having. For example, cancellations halfway through a year-long program can have serious consequences to the quality of the program. This means when you register for a program, you’re making the commitment to see the program through financially whether you are able to attend or not.
For these reasons: Rewild Portland cannot make exceptions for cancellations made (after the timelines listed below) due to personal or medical emergencies or any unforeseen circumstance, whether those circumstances are your fault or not.
*All cancellation & refund requests must be made through email and sent to info@rewildportland.com with the subject “cancellation and refund request.”
*A 5% cancellation fee will be added for all cancellations prior to the start of a program. This amount covers credit card fees that are not refunded to us when you receive your refund.
* Up to 72 hours prior to a program, you may transfer the registration to a friend.
Refund Timelines for Participants

If Rewild Portland Cancels
Adult Programs
If Rewild Portland has to cancel an adult program due to instructor illness, it will be rescheduled for a later date. Participants who are unable to attend the make-up day will be given a pro-rated refund for that particular day of a long-term program, and a full refund for a short term (under a month long).
- For example, if one of our basket classes is cancelled, we will move the program to a later day and if a paid participant is unable to attend that day, we will give them a refund. If one of our Weaver’s Wheel program days must be cancelled and moved, we will offer a refund that is the pro-rated percentage of the cost of that class, minus a 5% processing fee.
If Rewild Portland must cancel any program (i.e. Summer Camp Day, Bushcraft class, etc) prior to its start due to acts of god/nature/cthulu (i.e. weather event, wild fire, unhealthy AQI, earthquake, ice storm, cop riot, fascist takeover, naked bike ride, etc.) or any other issue outside of our control within the area that Rewild Portland operates, we will only be able to provide refunds based on these timelines:
30 days or more: 100% Refund (minus 5% processing fee)
Less than 30 days, or no-show: 50% Refund (minus deposit and 5% processing fee)
After program begins: No Refund
