This last weekend we went out tracking, our third session out of seven. Connor guided us around the sandbar on the Sandy River. It was an icy morning and the ground was frozen, leaving many tracks more permanent than they would be during the hot, dry summer months. We tracked many brush rabbits, many beavers, a river otter, a great blue heron, a sandpiper, deer and elk. We trailed a deer for a half mile through leaf debris. It was a great day with our noses in the dirt. Drop-in on one of our classes for only $25. Check out the details [here].
